If you really wanted to correct the so called misinformation I am spreading why do you have to start with things like "IV member know that you don't want to volunteer"? Is this is supposed to intimidate me or you just trying to spin information for your own cause?
Please understand that I am not against what IV stands for and what the members do. What I don't agree with is the way some immature Senior members do by loosing their cool. Cutting off peoples thoughts and ideas in not right. I would go futher to make a bold suggestion, " IV has to screen these so called senior members for maturity before making them members who carry the message"
I am not blaming anyone here, but moderation in their temper is expected off the senior members in any place not just in this forum. Intimedation and threats have always resulted in the downfall of the whole group, history would teach us that.

Without a grassroot effort none of the other constituents would have been effective. You mention about the AILA lawsuit "threat," well, why didn't they actually file the lawsuit? We agree that the lawmaker's letter was instrumental in the July visa fiasco reversal. We had an unprecedented San Jose rally by legal immigrants. You need to get serious and need to contact your state chapter leader to get some more information about IV.

I called USCIS today morning, response was by end of this (oct)month they will complete all data entry for I-485. He told that last week they did lot of entries for July 2 and we should see the receipt number any time soon.

Are you working for numbersusa? Do you know that it is made by white supremist who dont want any colored skin including native americans to be alive in US? Talk about your scare of getting too many people with substandard MS degrees. Do you not realize that the companies in USA knows a different in good US school and Bad one - So in nutshell the people from bad school wont get job? Do you know that there is nature's rule - Fittest Survival... So in case you are fit enough and qualified enough to get a job then you will get one, it does not matter if you are from good or bad school....
Also, looking at your thoughts, it does not appear that you are MIT or Stanford grade material, so do us all a favor and keep your thoughts to yourself....

Are you aware of Avertising world rule that when someone does not like soemthing, they tend to tell at least 25 people about it, while when someone likes something, they might tell 1 person. In this case, this classic rule has applied beyond expectations because people who are calling are already racist who sit on their ass and expect all colored people to be their slaves and get things done for them. They want their mexican maid or indian computer programmer doing things for them but the moment they realize that these foreigners might get citizenship and be equal to them, they dont like that.... (and so do you)....So there you go....No wonder they pick up phone and dial....In any case, what better can they do?
We cannot reject numbersusa and other organizartion's ideas. As our people are suffering in retrogession some of their people and their families are impacted because of job loss in past. Don't make stupid statements like this. It goes to show your intelligence and that you are an instigator. With statements like that you will alienate EB3 more. BTW, I contributed to DC advocacy and many other EB3s also did the same. That money apparently seemed to have have helped EB2 and not EB3.

it's not mine case. Clockwork reported some LUD for I140 some where. May be Aug 5? Not sure. But I think LUD of I140 doesn't matter. This is my personal opinion.

P.S I have also read that LUD is not an indication of anything related..but at this point, its been almost 2 months since the application was sent to attorney and absolutely no updates..so I am grasping at straws...:o

I have PD of Dec 2005 and I140 approved in June 2006 from TSC. Filed 485 on July 3rd .checks not cashed yet neither received the Receipt notice. Called up and lady checked the system and my 485 app is not in the system. She told me to call around 20th to check the status. What are they cooking ? I am not sure.

Rolling back dates is so unprofessional :mad: - means those idiots have no idea of how much demand there really is or will be :rolleyes:. This is not a stock price that has to go up or down based on current demand.
Rather than immigration reform. They should clean up USCIS & DOS. get more efficient people in there. Now that the economy is so bad they should be able to get a lot of good people.
Either case, I don't think those Behan Cs at USCIS are going to change the dates for EB3 until they are done going thru all the pending cases. Plus, unless there is searing pain all around there is no need for legislation. So dates rollback maybe a positive sign - a build up for CIR. But who am I kidding?

Good if it happens. But when? What makes it to say it is dead for the lawmakers. If it is likely to be dead by the end of July, then what for the hearings in the month of august before the next recession? No hopes for anything, until something is signed by the president. Any new BILL, agian the same senate, congress, commitee process and KILL it at the end. Hmmm it is just my frustration and I am not blaming anyone. I am there to fight till the end(?? I dunno where the end is though).
Answering for Logiclife, whose time zone is a couple hours behind.
CIR will likely not be VOTED dead. There just will not be anything done about naming a Conference committee. If a committee is indeed named, but they don't produce a report in 2-3 weeks, then CIR would be deemed dead.
The bottom line is, if nothing happens by the end of July, CIR will likely be dead.
We will be looking at other options much before the end of July. The problem for us is that no other legislation will be considered before the end of July.
